A normal bladder has a capacity of 400 to 500 milliliters. During normal urination, ring like bands of muscles known as sphincters relax or contract to either stop or start the flow of urine. During urination, the bladder walls contract or relax as well. It is important to keep these muscles toned and strong as we age for optimal urinary and bladder health.

The Flotrol Bladder Control Formula can help strengthen these muscles while also having a unique calming effect on the bladder. It is a combination of soy germ extract and lipid-free pumpkin seed extract. Soy is considered to be beneficial for maintaining a healthy bladder. The use of pumpkin seed dates back to 16th century when it was used for urinary tract health.

In a clinical study, subjects were given a tablet that contained a combination of pumpkin seed and soybean germ extracts over a period of several weeks. Measurements were taken for frequency of urination during the day and night, any emergency episodes and the degree of satisfaction. Marked improvement in urinary tract health and quality of life was shown after the first week with further improvement after the second week and, compared with the pretrial observational period, continued to improve throughout week six.

Can a kidney stone be stuck in your kidney?i have had one since Tuesday went to er they said yea looks like ya got one sent me home with meds. Well one day I'm not hurting so bad but by that night I'm n agony again. It has been almost a week. Is that normal?im tired of hurting. It was my side now it's my back. It is so sore and tender I can't stand even touching where my kidney is. Hurts worse everytime I pee. What should I do?

Look up home remedies involving lemon juice, lemons, oranges, vinegar, and especially cranberries and cranberry juice. Try each of them. See if that helps. The ER people can be completely useless. They'll just prescribe some medication and send you home without actually finding out what's really wrong with you. Set up an appointment with a specialist -- a urologist -- and get a more informed opinion. But whatever you do, don't wait, okay? You should not be sitting there in pain.

i am $30,000 in debt for mine, even after they blew it up, it was still stuck together in the passage to the bladder.. I did not have insurance at the time, good ol'e USA, where you can go into debt when your sick.

I passed a 9mmx5mm stone that the Dr. didn't SEE on the x-ray. It took two years to pass. Imagine his face when I brought it in and showed him. Wish I could post a pic of it...I took the pic of it next to a dime to show the size. After the first couple of months of pain it settled to a dull roar until it finally passed. Wow...what a relief!

I did this and my stones grew from 4mm to 6mm. I still drink so much water I can hardly leave the house. My dr. says it impossible to pass stones. I am going to prove him wrong and then I am going to fire him.

crap, I´m used to drinking only about less than a litre per day...maybe half a litre. I´ll feel sick if I drink 3-4 litres!!...but I´d rather feel sick than have this horrible pain...
After one week I got some positive improvements on my kidney stone using this method > thekidneystones.com. I have 4 stones at the moment and I recently had surgery for a stent to be put in to relieve 3 of them (one i passed on my own). It's the most painful experience you'll ever have. I was on the floor clutching my stomach, vomiting my guts out in the ER. Only 15ml of Morphine helped.after the stent was put in, how did you know when it passed ? i am in the same situation, they had to blast it with waves (6mm stone) now i am home trying to drink a lot of juice/water.I could feel it moving through my body. I recently passed the last one. So painful! I wouldn't drink juice. Only water.i have a 4mm infected kidney stone my doc says possiblility of being fatal because of my high white blood cells i am trying to pass at home cause they said the count went down but is there any tips of any who have passed a kidney stone what to eat or anything cause i am trying to pass it naturally cause doc prescribed me toradel which could cause me to die i have flomax but any tips of what i could do are greatly appreciated.
thanxs 4 the video! today i went to the ER and they say i have a 5mm stone! so they told me its not big and need to flush it! im scared now how painful its a 5mm???? im scared.

I had a 5mm stone and it ended up getting stuck and impacted right before entering the bladder in that thinnest part of the ureter. i ended up having to have it removed via ureteroscopy with the laser. another guy i know had a 6mm that got stuck also and he had to have the same thing done. drink lots of water and try to pass it on your own. if you goto a urologist they will most likely give you flomax to take to try to help pass it as well.
